WebHostingHub Review – (TL;DR) WebHostingHub is not the best web host in the world but the budget price tag and user-friendliness make them a very good host for the starters. To order, click here.

Note: WebHostingHub is no longer an A+ host in my book – learn more from my recent Hub review at Web Hosting Secret Revealed (my primary site). You might also want to check out InMotion Hosting (same management with Hub), WebHostFace (great performance, starts at $1.63/mo), and eHost (good budget hosting choice).

Introduction: Based in Virginia Beach, WebHostingHub is a company owned and managed by InMotion Hosting blah blah blah. The website, WebHostingHub.com, blah blah blah has been around since January 2005.

Okay, I know. You are not coming after some boring company introduction.

The one thing you care about: Is WebHostingHub hosting right for me?

So, straight to the point we go.

Stuffs you ought to know about WebHostingHub

WebHostingHub = Budget Version of InMotion Hosting

  • WebHostingHub is owned and managed by InMotion Hosting. Whooops, I have said that before? Sorry. My point is – the Hub is like the budget version of InMotion Hosting.
  • WebHostingHub offers only one hosting plan – the all-in-one, shared hosting plan that comes with unlimited everything. Do not trust the word “unlimited” – nothing is unlimited in our finite world. But practically, this means you can host more dormant websites than you can afford in one WebHostingHub account.
  • WebHostingHub is not very popular – there are little people promoting them – but so far I find their hosting service pretty good – they are like the BlueHost in 2005.
  • To Endurance International Group (EIG) haters, WebHostingHub is not owned by EIG. (Seriously, I know this is a big deal to some.)

FTW: A+ on BBB plus 90 days full money back trial

  • WebHostingHub offers 90 days full money back trial period. (Incredible!)
  • WebHostingHub scores A+ on Better Business Bureau (BBB) for several consecutive years.

But then again…

  • Sounds all good? Wait – I am not telling you that WebHostingHub is not perfect.
  • Drawback one, you can’t upgrade your hosting at WebHostingHub.
  • Drawback two, you will get charged for backup request – $1/mo extra for Automatic Account Backup feature.
  • There are some complaints on WebHostingHub after sales support – this is very common for budget hosting service. However I have not had any major issues with their customer supports.

Special WebHostingHub discount

  • I got some really special deal with WebHostingHub. If you order via my affiliate link, you’ll get 50% discount on your first hosting bill – that’s almost $100 saving if you subscribe to 24-months plan.
  • The 50% discount via my affiliate link is probably the best WebHostingHub deal you can ever get online.

Caution: Probably the best WebHostingHub deal you can ever get!

WebHostingHub Hosting Uptime

I own a WebHostingHub account and I have been tracking its uptime for years. Here are some recent scores – these charts were originally published on my main site Web Hosting Secret Revealed.

Is WebHostingHub for you?

100% yes if:

  • You are starting your very first blog and looking for a new web host.
  • You want a very cheap AND more-than-okay web host.
  • You wish to host multiple small-to-mid sites in one hosting account.

In short, I think WebHostingHub (and iPage) is the best web host for starters. Cheap, easy to handle, instant account activation, and 90 days full money refund are WebHostingHub’s key advantages.
